IGI Names New Director of Operations, Business Development
Luxury executive Jeni Campagna will take on the role.

Luxury executive Jeni Campagna will take on the newly created role, leading and managing operations and strategic growth for the lab.
Prior to joining IGI, Campagna joined Sarine Technologies as its director of operations in October 2022.
She has more than 25 years of experience in the luxury goods and jewelry industries.
Campagna also served as vice president and global production manager at Sotheby’s Diamonds for seven years, overseeing the design, manufacturing, and quality control of its high-end diamond jewelry.
Campagna was also a senior gemologist at jewelry manufacturer Cora International and a gemology instructor at her alma mater, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
She received her Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jeni Campagna to the IGI team,” said Avi Levy, president of IGI North America.
“She is a highly driven and respected expert in luxury jewelry and gemstones with a strong background in operations, trend analysis, advertising, sales and retail. Jeni is a proven leader and strategist, known for her focus on customer service, innovation and excellence. We are excited about the new opportunities she will bring to IGI."
Campagna shared her excitement about joining IGI.
"I am thrilled to embark on this journey with IGI, such an incredible organization which is expanding its reach globally,” she said,
“As a champion of consumer confidence and industry integrity, I look forward to upholding IGI's legacy and driving innovation and new connections within the company and industry.”
IGI announced Monday that CEO Roland Lorie is set to step down this fall. Tehmasp Printer, who currently heads the lab’s operations in India, will take his place.
The role change follows the May announcement that private equity firm Blackstone would acquire the lab from a subsidiary of Chinese conglomerate Fosun and the founding Lorie family for more than $500 million.
