Nina Runsdorf Is the Hamptons’ Hottest Jewelry Ticket This Summer
Sotheby’s East Hampton gallery just opened a sale of the designer’s work.

On view now through July 18, Sotheby’s East Hampton Gallery will present a selection of works from designer Nina Runsdorf, who calls the Hamptons home.
The jewelry on display will show some of the designer’s greatest hits since she launched her eponymous collection in 2005, including diamond slice jewels—inspired upon seeing the stones for the first time on a trip to India in 2009—her signature “Flip Ring,” and lots of color.
The assortment will feature high jewelry, like a 113-carat emerald ring crafted just for the Sotheby’s sale, plus new collections like Runsdorf’s first gold and diamond everyday fine jewelry range called “All That Is.”
Highlights from “All That Is” include a 4-carat Asscher-cut diamond pinky ring and an 8-carat cushion-cut white diamond necklace.
The designer will also show a collection called “Tree of Life,” inspired by dreamy, beachside holidays, to fete 15 years of business.
“Sotheby’s represents the very best in curated luxury, and I am thrilled that such an iconic organization has decided to spotlight my work,” Runsdorf said.
“Throughout my career it has been of paramount importance to design jewelry that is rich in storytelling and created with sophisticated ease for everyday wear, which undoubtedly will thrive in Sotheby’s East Hampton’s beautiful and culturally compelling space.”
Sotheby’s Sales Director of Jewelry, Frank Everett, added, “We are honored to showcase Nina’s inspired jewelry designs through this special selling exhibition at our East Hampton gallery. We’ve curated our gallery with a whimsical mix of art, design, and luxury goods as the perfect complement to her stunning jewels, which beautifully capture the spirit of summer.”
Sotheby’s East Hampton is located at 66 Newtown Lane in East Hampton, New York. It is open Tuesday to Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment.
Coinciding with the exhibition sale, Runsdorf will also release a creative campaign highlighting her new “All That Is” collection this month.
Featuring cinematography by Owen Smith-Clarke and photography by Jules Muir, the campaign will highlight the jewels on model Yulu Sereao against a New York City backdrop.
