Jewelers for Children Announces Fourth Annual JFC Day
It’s a day for the industry to raise awareness around and funds for children in need.

This fall, JFC will celebrate this accomplishment while also raising awareness about and funds for these causes.
Saturday, Sept. 25 marks the fourth annual JFC Day. The organization is inviting anyone interested, from jewelry suppliers and retailers to consumers, to participate.
Retailers are advised to reach out to customers to educate them about JFC’s mission and its accomplishments so far, while manufacturers and suppliers are advised to contact their retail partners.
JFC suggests anyone wanting to participate utilize social media to promote the occasion.
A planning guide with ideas on participation, social media materials, press releases, videos, and sample emails is available on the JFC website.
When JFC Day began in 2018, retailers across the country ran special promotions to raise awareness. Over the years, companies like Day’s Jewelers, Reeds Jewelers, and Wells Fargo have participated.
Charity partners have participated, too, like the CASA/GAL Association, whose staff and volunteers visited jewelers around the country to give their thanks for contributions to JFC over the years.
JFC Board Chair Debra Puzio said, “Coming out of the pandemic, we are all ready to get back to normal. JFC Day presents a unique opportunity for all of us to come together and recognize that issues like childhood illness and abuse and neglect are still occurring, and children are one of our major priorities.”
