Police Searching for 2 Suspects in Armed Robbery of GA Jewelry Store
A third suspect, who was shot during the robbery, has been arrested and charged.
At 3:20 p.m. on May 6, three masked suspects entered A&M Custom Jewelry in Town Center mall in Kennesaw, an Atlanta suburb, and robbed the store at gunpoint, grabbing high-end watches from a display cabinet.
One store employee was injured during the robbery, according to the Cobb County Police Department, and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Wilson and the other two suspects fled the store—with Rolex watches worth about $350,000 in hand, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution—but they later dropped off Wilson at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he was treated for his injury and subsequently arrested.
He has been charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Police are still looking for two other suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3945 or the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328 or jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.
