AGA Explores Gemology Career Paths With New Forum Series
The inaugural event is tomorrow and will feature four professionals who will talk about their careers and how they got there.
The Accredited Gemologists Association is launching a forum called “What Can You Do with Your Gemology?”
The online bi-annual event, free and open to all, is designed to showcase the variety of applications for gemological accreditation and career paths to consider.
The forums will feature practicing gemologists in a variety of professions who will share their paths to success and answer questions from participants.
The inaugural event is scheduled for tomorrow (April 13) at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT.
It will feature Adrian Smith, FGA, an independent jewelry valuer in Scotland; Stuart Robertson, GG, vice president and research director of Gemworld International; Jill Burgum, GG, fine jewelry director for Heritage Auctions; and Art Samuels, GG, a high-end estate jewelry buyer and seller.
