InColor Magazine Has a New Publisher
Befindan Media, which puts out Jeweller magazine, will now publish the ICA’s quarterly journal.
ICA has published InColor since the magazine’s inception, with President Clement Sabbagh describing the publication as “a vitally important part of ICA’s communication.”
Under Befindan Media and publisher Angela Han, InColor will undergo a redesign and relaunch, and will have a new tagline: “Celebrating gemstone beauty.”
In an email to National Jeweler, Han said the new design will be undertaken with the next issue. InColor also will be appointing a new editor for the magazine.
Befindan Media currently publishes Jeweller magazine, a trade publication founded in 1996 that serves Australia and New Zealand.
Discussions about Befindan also publishing InColor began in late 2019, a process that included a thorough review of the international colored gemstone market and InColor’s reach and readership.
Han said in a press release that she believes the two magazines are “great stablemates.”
“Jeweller already has a prestigious worldwide reputation and authority, and with the addition of InColor to our portfolio, we believe we can help take the ICA and its magazine into a new era,” she said.
“InColor will continue to be mailed directly to all ICA members and affiliated bodies, and we have developed a new, large database of well-targeted readers, gemstone buyers and jewelry designers.”
Sabbagh said: “ICA is delighted to be working with Befindan Media who, with their renowned expertise and experience, will ensure InColor maintains its standing as a leading publication for the colored gemstone trade.”
“Having a publisher like Befindan Media will greatly enhance our flagship publication by ensuring that we continue to provide the industry with the most interesting and colorful content from the leading gemstone experts around the world.”
