She previously held roles at Fred Leighton, Windsor Jewels and Christie’s.

New York—Auction house Bonhams has appointed Leslie Roskind its senior jewelry specialist.
Roskind has been in the jewelry industry for more than 25 years, most recently holding positions at Fred Leighton and Windsor Jewels, where she was responsible for acquiring jewelry and selling to the firm’s private clients in-store and at trade shows.
Prior to that, she worked at Christie’s for 17 years across its New York, Los Angeles, and Geneva houses. During her time at the auction house, she was closely involved with the 2011 sale of Elizabeth Taylor’s jewels and the 2006 auction of the collection of Ellen Barkin.
Roskind is a graduate of Boston University and the American College of Switzerland, a GIA graduate and a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians.
“We are delighted to welcome Leslie to Bonhams,” said Brett O’Connor, senior international jewelry director and senior vice president for the U.S. “Her knowledge and passion for jewels will be a great asset to the company as we continue to grow our sales program in the United States.”
