Sabine Getty Auctioning Jewelry for London Fire Survivors
The auction ends Monday, with all proceeds going to the Rugby Portobello Trust.

London--In the wake of the tragic London apartment building fire that left at least 17 dead, Sabine Getty is auctioning her designs to benefit survivors of the blaze.
The Grenfell Tower residential building, located in the north Kensington area of London, caught fire Wednesday. The 24-floor building, built in 1974, housed 120 apartment units. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and the death toll is expected to rise.
Getty took to her Instagram page Thursday to announce she is privately auctioning four of her designs--including a one-of-a-kind ring, a pendant, earrings and a bracelet--to help out the families who lost everything in the blaze.
There is no minimum bid amount and all proceeds will be donated to the Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT), a local charity assisting survivors of the fire.
In her Instagram post, Getty said: “The RPT remains to be a vital center for the local community, especially over the last two days.”
To make a bid, simply e-mail sophie.bartholomew@sabinegetty.com with the item(s) of interest and starting bid amount.
Winners will be announced on Instagram this Monday, June 19 at 15:00 London time.
Getty told National Jeweler she felt compelled to help simply because, “it is only natural that we help our neighbor.”
