Piece of the Week: Andrea Fohrman’s Sunset Pendant
Of all the designers currently working in enamel, Fohrman showcases some of the material’s prettiest iterations.

The sky has long been Andrea Fohrman’s muse and it presents no shortage of design possibilities.
From the Los Angeles designer’s rainbow and lightning pendants to rings with unique gemstones that resemble galaxies, there’s a little something for everyone, representing nature’s many moods.
Fohrman’s innate understanding of bold-colored gemstones has made her a natural with enamel. She’s embraced the material wholeheartedly as it’s regained traction in recent years.
The brand’s enamel work is at its most scintillating when applied over engraved metal and with an ombré effect, like in this Piece of the Week “Sunset” pendant.
Crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, yellow enamel deepens into fiery orange in imitation of a sunset’s glow. The design is surrounded by a white diamond halo.
The pendant retails for $6,450 on the Andrea Fohrman website.
