Piece of the Week: Gigi Ferranti’s Star Ruby Ring
It was love at first sight when we spotted the ring at a jewelry trade show this week.

Gigi Ferranti was among the designers who shipped their wares to the desert this week for the Centurion jewelry trade show.
Among the pieces the Brooklyn-based designer showcased was this stunning bypass ring featuring a pair of star rubies weighing a total of 25.35 carats set in an 18-karat rose gold band studded with rubies (0.30 carats) and pink and orange sapphires (0.65 carats).
The suggested retail price is $7,000.
A video of our editor-in-chief wearing the ring can be seen below.

Ferranti said the star rubies—which signify love, passion and a zest for life—inspired the design of the ring she is calling “Rosetta.”
