Piece of the Week: Campbellian Collection’s Garnet Earrings
National Jeweler celebrates the pinks that are predicted to be hot in Tucson with this pair of garnet and ruby earrings.

Excitement is really ramping up ahead of the Tucson gem shows.
Being out in the sunny desert in February always does everyone some good, and, with a mixture of trade-only and public-facing events featuring cases and cases of loose stones, the shows offer a look at how the colored gemstone market is faring as well as what’s trending.
Several exhibitors recently told National Jeweler that pinks and purples are still flying off shelves, so in honor of that movement and to give a nod to what this editor sees as a very underrated gemstone—garnet—this week’s Piece of the Week features a pair of earrings set with the vibrant gems.
The earrings from Campbellian Collection feature luscious pink Malaya garnets at center weighing 12.71 total carats, accented with 12 Burmese rubies weighing 1.37 total carats and 0.35 carats of diamonds in 18-karat white gold.
They retail for $15,000.
Visit Campbellian Collection at the American Gem Trade Association’s GemFair Booth #3106 in the Grand Ballroom.
