Piece of the Week: Dior’s “Grove of the Emerald Queen” Ring
Fresh from its haute joaillerie week debut, this Dior ring references the gardens of Versailles.

New York--What can’t Dior’s resident jewelry designer, Victoire de Castellane, do?
Flora may be the most fertile incubator for high jewelry inspiration, or any fine jewelry inspiration for that matter, but in the hands of de Castellane, the most common subject matter takes a turn for the wildly dramatic and original.
Unveiled last week in Paris during haute couture/haute joaillerie week, de Castellane specifically referenced the gardens of Versailles in Dior’s latest high jewelry collection--a follow-up to last year’s ode to the royal chateau itself--mixing the rigid geometry of the gardens’ landscaping with the organic abundance of its greenery and flowers.
Dior’s Bosquet de la Reine Emeraude ring is made in pink gold and adorned with emeralds, diamonds, Paraiba-type tourmalines, orange, yellow and pink sapphires, spessartite garnets, yellow diamonds and ruby.
This one-of-a-kind piece, which opens and closes, is available from Dior--price available upon request.
