Yurman to be honored at Pratt’s Legends Awards
Jewelry designer David Yurman, fashion icon Iris Apfel and Paper magazine editor and publisher Kim Hastreiter will be recognized at the Pratt Institute’s Legends Awards this November.
New York--Jewelry designer David Yurman, fashion icon Iris Apfel and Paper magazine editor and publisher Kim Hastreiter will be recognized at the Pratt Institute’s Legends Awards this November.
The event is scheduled for Nov. 20 at the Mandarin Oriental in New York.
The Legends Awards celebrate distinguished individuals and corporations in the world of art and design whose accomplishments and values resonate with those of the Pratt Institute, a nonprofit college in Brooklyn, N.Y. known for its programs in architecture as well as interior and industrial design.
Each year, Legends raises funds to provide financial aid to Pratt students based on need and merit.
Past Pratt Legends include Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Joan Rivers and Pantone Inc.
