New silver line emulates popular bouquet blooms
Designer Michael Galmer used popular bridal flowers as inspiration for his new repoussé silver line, Forever Flowers, which offers pendants and earrings depicting on-trend blooms.
The jewelry mimics six types of flowers--anemone, dahlia, gardenia, ranunculus, dogwood and rose--that are the most popular used in the bouquets of florist Sarah von Pollaro, who owns the Washington-based Flower Empowered, a website and series of workshops on flower arranging, and is a floral design expert on PBS.
The Forever Flowers collection by Repoussé Jewelry by Galmer is made in the brand’s workshops in Long Island City, N.Y.
“When gardenias are the basis of a bride’s bouquet, she is excited to have a gardenia pendant which keeps her wedding memories fresh forever,” von Pollaro said.
The Forever Flowers collection will be available this fall.
