Kara Ross to open NY boutique, launch collection
Designer Kara Ross will open her first standalone boutique next month in New York City’s Upper East Side, at Madison Avenue and 60th Street.
Coinciding with the brand’s 20th anniversary, the opening of the store also will serve as the debut of Ross’ new Petra collection, her first full collection of fine jewelry in five years.
Ross’ additional fine jewelry lines and her collection of evening clutches also will be for sale at the boutique.
These 18-karat gold pieces with amethyst, rubellite and diamonds are from Kara Ross’ new Petra collection.
The store will have a warm, neutral color palette with texture and metal accents.
Antique nickel mirrors have been installed to accentuate the sparkle of gemstone jewelry on display, and a mother-of-pearl table with seating offers shoppers a place to sit.
“The boutique will offer our clients an opportunity to further engage with our brand and explore everything from precious jewelry, to exotic skinned handbags, to our gorgeous collection of gemstone pieces. The inspiration for the space in many ways reflects my style and use of mixed and unexpected materials,” Ross said.
