Nilesh Sheth Re-Elected as IDCA Board President
At the organization’s Dec. 12 meeting, Sujan Doshi of S.A. Diamonds, Inc. also was elected as vice president.
New York—The Indian Diamond and Colorstone Association has announced the results of its elections held at the board of directors meeting on Dec. 12.
Nilesh Sheth of Nice Diamonds was unanimously re-elected as the president of IDCA, with Sujan Doshi of S.A. Diamonds, Inc. elected vice president.
Shekhar Shah of Real Gems, Inc. will take over as secretary and Shiksha Naheta of Empresa Jewels will become the joint secretary. The board also re-elected Rajeev Pandya of Ashi Diamonds, LLC to treasurer.
The IDCA board members continuing as directors this year are as follows.
—Shrenil Bhansali of Fairway Diamonds, Inc.;
—Shailesh Jhalani of Prompt Gem Imptrs Inc.;
—Haridas Kotahwala of Royal India USA, Inc.;
—Prakash Mehta of Interings, Inc.; and
—Mehul Shah of Shivani Gems, Inc.
The new inductees to the 2019 board of directors are the following.
—Nitin Jobanputra of Sanghvi Diamonds, Inc.;
—Sailesh Lakhi of Sparkles & Colors USA, Inc.; and
—Prashant Mehta of Dia Expressions.
Roopam Jain of Jay Gems, Inc., Jay Mehta of Indigo Jewelry, Inc. and Prateek Nigam of Oriental Gemco NY, Inc. completed their terms as directors in 2018.
