Diamond Week Event in Israel Scheduled for February
The three-day event, slated for Feb. 5 to 7, includes three free nights in a hotel for registered buyers.
Ramat Gan, Israel--The Israel Diamond Exchange has scheduled the seventh International Diamond Week in Israel for Feb. 5 to 7.
The event will offer three days of diamond trading opportunities in the Israel Diamond Exchange’s trading hall, featuring more than 250 diamond companies from across the globe.
Trading will take place on the bourse floor from Monday to Wednesday, with Thursday left as an optional day for individual meetings, the IDE said.
The 2018 event also will feature a section devoted to high-end diamond jewelry manufactured by Israeli diamond companies.
Organizers noted that they’re upgrading the entertainment this year with a variety of evening events and a closing party.
Hotel accommodations also have been chosen ahead of time, with the ease of participants in mind, IDE said. The chosen hotels are close to the diamond district and can be selected during the registration process, with three complimentary nights included.
Registration for the event and hotel accommodations can be found online.
“We are working to make this year’s event surpass previous ones in every way, with more goods, more opportunities and more excitement,” said Ezra Boaron, the new chairman of IDWI. “We opened the registration earlier this month for IDWI 2018 and we’re already seeing great interest.”
