IDE Honors Past President Yair Sahar
The 66th General Assembly of the Israel Diamond Exchange gave former IDE President Yair Sahar the title of Honorary President.
Ramat Gan, Israel--The 66th General Assembly of the Israel Diamond Exchange recently gave former IDE President Yair Sahar the title of Honorary President.
Sahar served a two-year term between 2011 and 2013.
According to the IDE, newly elected President Yoram Dvash said he not only fully supported the decision to honor Sahar but also noted how crucial it is for past leaders of the exchange to continue to contribute to the growth of the Israeli diamond industry and trade.
“I congratulate Yair Sahar on becoming the third past president to be awarded the prestigious title of Honorary President. In these challenging times for our industry, we need the advice and insights of the captains who have run our ship in the past and have negotiated the rough seas that we continue to experience also today,” he said.
