Ramat Gan, Israel--The Texas Jewelers Association is partnering with the Israel Diamond Institute to bring a new diamond-buying opportunity to jewelers in the United States.
The Texas-Israel Diamond Show is scheduled to take place at the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio from Sept. 29 to 30, timed to allow jewelers the chance to replenish their stock before the holiday season.
The trade-only show will showcase nearly 30 exhibitors from Israel, offering diamonds of every size, shape, color, and price point in both loose stones and luxury diamond jewelry.
There is no fee to attend the Texas-Israel diamond show. However those who wish to attend must register for this event ahead of time. The TJA said there will be no onsite admission or badge registration available due to security concerns.
The diamond show coincides with the TJA Convention, which runs from Sept. 27 to 29 at the same hotel. The registration fee for the convention is $149, and gives automatic access to the Texas-Israel Diamond show. More information and registration access for this event is available on the TJA website.
The TJA said that it is in the process of putting up a separate online registration form for those interested in strictly attending the Texas-Israel diamond show. That online form will go live soon.
Show organizers are planning special social and networking opportunities for the Texas-Israel Diamond Show event, as well as special rates for accommodations.
“In Israel’s diamond center, jewelers can find whatever diamonds they could possibly look for, in every size, cut, quality and price. Now, for the first time, we are bringing these advantages directly to them,” said IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar.
“This is the first time that we are offering this exceptional opportunity to local jewelers in the United States. We’re holding the first Israel Diamond Show in Texas because we believe in the vibrancy of this market.”
