Diamond co. honored with business award

The Stevie Awards has recognized Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. in two categories of its 2014 International Business Awards: “Company of the Year--Manufacturing” and “Fastest Growing Company of the Year (Asia, Australia, and New Zealand).” 

Mumbai, India--The Stevie Awards has recognized Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. in two categories of its 2014 International Business Awards: “Company of the Year--Manufacturing” and “Fastest Growing Company of the Year (Asia, Australia, and New Zealand).”

Hari Krishna was given bronze awards in both categories.

Established in 2002, the Stevie Awards recognize the achievements of businesses, organizations and individuals in more than 60 nations. A Gold Stevie award has existed for each category since the beginning, and Silver and Bronze Stevie Awards were introduced in 2012 to celebrate the organization’s 10th anniversary.

This year’s winners were determined through two months of preliminary judging, which included more than 250 executives worldwide participating in the process, and two weeks of final judging.

In each competition, the top scoring qualifying entry in each category receives a Gold Stevie Award.  Finalists that receive an average score of at least 8 out of 10 are designated as Silver Stevie winners, and all other finalists are designated as Bronze Stevie winners.

All of the winners will be presented their awards at a gala banquet at the Westin Paris-Vendôme hotel in Paris on Oct. 10.

“We are honored to have been recognized with the Stevie Award,” said Ghanshyam Dholakia, managing director at Hari Krishna Exports. “Winning the bronze award for the two categories is a powerful validation of both our growing business as well as adoption of our manufacturing process.”

He added, “This recognition is a reflection of our company’s efficient and effective manufacturing processes. Also the company’s vision and strategies have been aimed at continuous growth and progress and are well-imbibed in all our employees. The implementation of the vision throughout the organization is well planned through accurate policies and guidelines.”
