Barry Lustig Joins The Gordon Company
He is the company’s new vice president and will work alongside President Ira Bergman.

Pompano Beach, Fla.--Barry Lustig has joined The Gordon Company as its new vice president and will work alongside President Ira Bergman interfacing with the firm’s retail clients.
Lustig comes to The Gordon Company after seven years as a vice president at Jade Trau Inc., the manufacturing and design firm started by his wife, jewelry designer Jade Lustig.
Prior to that, he was Lazare Kaplan International’s North American sales manager for five years and also worked for two years as a salesman for Cora Diamond.
Lustig is a GIA graduate gemologist and a certified gemologist of the American Gem Society.
He has spent the last decade working in jewelry manufacturing and working with upscale retailers nationwide.
In a statement announcing Lustig’s hire, CEO Jeff Gordon said: “We recruited Barry Lustig because we knew his tremendous energy and dedication to helping independent jewelry retailers would be a perfect complement to our team of experts in the field. Lustig will join our president, Ira Bergman, as a key interface to the industry and our upscale retail clients.”
Based in Pompano Beach, Florida, The Gordon Company has more than 100 years of family heritage in the field of inventory management, helping jewelers who are moving, closing a store, retiring or who just want to sell off aged inventory with promotional and liquidation sales.
