Thomas Sabo Opens First US Boutique
The German jewelry and watch brand’s first stateside store will open this week at the Westfield WTC mall, part of New York’s World Trade Center.

New York--Thomas Sabo has its eye on the U.S. market.
The Germany-based jewelry and watch company, which has more than 300 retail locations, is opening its first U.S. boutique this week at the Westfield mall, part of the World Trade Center in New York.
Company founder and Chairman Thomas Sabo commented, “We are very proud about the opening of our first flagship store in the U.S. in the brand-new Westfield World Trade Center in New York City. This opening symbolizes a big step for the company in terms of positioning Thomas Sabo as one of the leading premium jewelry and watches brands worldwide.”
Thomas Sabo also has announced the appointment of a new U.S. wholesale director, Todd Tieche. Tieche formerly worked for Richemont, Morellato and Parmigiani.
“I am thrilled to be joining the brand at such thriving times and am delighted by the upcoming opening of the New York flagship store for Thomas Sabo,” said Tieche. “This represents a unique opportunity to show both existing and new partners the world of Thomas Sabo--from premium to affordable luxury-- in an exclusive environment. I’m sure that this calling card will push the U.S. business.”
