JFC and Vardi Launch Million Key Movement
The charity and jewelry manufacturer are launching the movement with the goal of raising $1 million for JFC.

New York--Vardi Company, a New York-based jewelry manufacturer, wants to raise $1 million or more for Jewelers for Children.
They aim to do this through the Million Key Movement, a program in which Vardi will donate 10 percent of the wholesale price of sales of their “Love is the Key” jewelry collection, and are asking participating retailers to do the same.
“We launched this program to make a significant impact and our goal is to generate the largest-ever charitable contribution to JFC of $1 million-plus as well as to spread the positive brand message of Love is the Key,” said Vardi Company CEO Steven Vardi.
Vardi Company will be launching a nationwide advertising campaign to promote the project and its participating retailers.
Love is the Key jewelry, which Vardi Company originally launched in 1994, will be available for the Million Key Movement in sterling silver, 10-karat gold and 14-karat gold with cubic zirconia, ruby or diamond accents.
Wholesale and retail prices were not available as of press time.
Since its inception in 1999, Jewelers for Children has donated more than $51 million to child-related charities, such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Make-A-Wish America, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the National CASA Association.
