Scott Kay names director of brand management
Kelly Kahn, who has worked for Montblanc, Movado and LVMH, has been hired for the position and her appointment is effective immediately.

New York--Kelly Kahn has been named as the new director of brand management for Scott Kay, effective immediately.
Kahn has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing and brand management with luxury and fine jewelry companies.
She previously was the global brand manager at high-end eyewear company Safilo USA, where she developed product, brand and marketing strategies for a number of luxury and designer brands.
Prior to that, she was the vice president of marketing at Movado Group, working with the CEO and president to develop a global brand marketing strategy and multi-channel plans for the company.
Kahn also held roles as product manager at Montblanc North America and brand manager with LVMH Watch & Jewelry.
“Kelly Kahn comes to us with an understanding of the artistic and nuanced nature of the Scott Kay brand,” said Scott Kay President Michael Benavente. “We are confident she will further develop and maintain the integrity of the brand as we continue to move forward, while bringing creativity and innovative ideas to lead the communications, advertising and retail support.”
Manufacturer Frederick Goldman acquired the brand assets of Scott Kay in February and since has made a number of changes and appointments to the team.
Scott Kay’s former CEO David Minster was let go at the time of the acquisition, with Frederick Goldman executive Adam Gurian heading the brand on an interim basis after that.
Last month, the brand tapped Benavente, a longtime industry executive who has worked for Gucci, Longines and Movado, to become its new president.
Scott Kay also has added a number of people to its regional sales teams while laying off an undisclosed number of employees at the company’s production and manufacturing headquarters in Teaneck, N.J.
