New York--Dwight Gaston, senior vice president of operations at Blue Nile Inc., is stepping down, effective July 2.
Gaston gave his notice on Jan. 2, according to a Blue Nile 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Rebecca Foerster confirmed to National Jeweler that she has been appointed as the executive vice president of strategic planning and marketing at Leo Schachter Diamonds, a position she will assume later this month.
Foerster previously served as the U.S. vice president of Rio Tinto Diamonds and is credited with establishing the Rio Tinto office in the United States.
