Tiffany & Co. Celebrates Elsa Peretti’s Bone Cuff

The iconic design has joined a lineup of notable pieces featured in the jeweler’s “With Love, Since 1837” campaign.

Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti Bone cuff
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Elsa Peretti’s arrival at Tiffany & Co., the jeweler will feature her Bone Cuff in its ongoing campaign celebrating its most notable collections.
New York—The Elsa Peretti Bone Cuff has joined the lineup of Tiffany & Co. pieces highlighted in the jeweler’s “With Love, Since 1837” campaign.

The campaign, which debuted earlier this year, is an ode to the beginnings of Tiffany & Co., founded in New York City in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany.

It celebrates the jeweler’s heritage and most notable collections through contemporary visuals inspired by the late Gene Moore, the company’s former window designer.

The timely addition of the Bone Cuff coincides with the 50th anniversary of Elsa Peretti’s arrival at Tiffany & Co. in September 1974.

An icon since it was first introduced in the 70s, Tiffany said, the Bone Cuff illustrates Peretti’s design ingenuity and creativity.

Designed to be powerfully feminine, it’s made to conform to the left and right wrists, molding effortlessly to the body.

The cuff’s sensual, sculptural form defined the designer’s pioneering vision, said Tiffany.

Few designs maintain their style and beauty for decades, but Peretti’s jewelry and objects continue to endure, said Tiffany & Co. of its decision to include the Bone Cuff in its “With Love, Since 1837” campaign

The “With Love, Since 1837” campaign showcases pieces from Tiffany’s most definitive jewelry collections as theatrical vignettes in a series of vitrines inspired by the whimsical displays Gene Moore is remembered for.

The Bone Cuff is depicted on a floating hand gesturing upward, a nod to one of Peretti’s poses from her modeling career.

The ladybug on the index finger is a tribute to a 1980s advertisement for the Bone Cuff shot by the late photographer Hiro, who was also the designer’s close friend and creative collaborator.

The piece has earned a place in jewelry history, having been honored in permanent collections of leading museums and worn by notable figures across the world.

Also in honor of Peretti’s 50th anniversary, the jeweler has debuted special pieces throughout the year, reissuing some of the designer’s pieces with gemstones and in bold scales, such as the pavé diamond Bone Cuffs, each a testament to her influence as a creative force in the industry.

The special creations are available at Tiffany & Co. stores globally or on Tiffany.com.
