Piece of the Week: Tabayer’s Oera ‘Unity’ Ring
Crafted in Fairmined gold with a rainbow of agate, the ring is a joyful symbol of inclusivity, diversity, and solidarity.

Helmed by founder and Creative Director Nigora Tokhtabayeva, Tabayer is identifiable by the sculptural embrace that serves as the backbone of its Oera collections.
A version of the sleek silhouette just won the brand a Couture Design Award in the “Best in Colored Gemstones Above $40,000” category.
In honor of Pride Month, which is celebrated every June worldwide, Tabayer is taking its signature shape and adding a rainbow.
The Oera “Unity” ring is crafted in 18-karat Fairmined gold (white or yellow) and is set with hand-carved agate stones in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
From now through July 1, Tabayer will donate 10 percent of proceeds from the sale of the “Unity” ring on its website to The Center for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers.
The Center was founded in 1983, at the height of the AIDS crisis, to provide a safe place for the city’s gay community.
Today, it offers life-enhancing and life-saving services spanning the arts, advocacy, health and wellness, recovery, youth, and family.
“Tabayer is honored to launch the ‘Unity’ ring in celebration of Pride Month,” Tokhtabayeva said.
“We believe in the power of love, unity, and acceptance, and this ring serves as a beautiful expression of those values. It’s our way of standing in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community and spreading a message of inclusivity and belonging.”
The Oera “Unity” ring retails for $9,050.
