Jam + Rico Debuts Second Claire’s Collection
Founder Lisette Scott was inspired by the intricacy, colors, and symbolism of African art and architecture.

Scott’s first collection for the retailer channeled her Caribbean heritage and her childhood summers in California.
For the second collection, Scott took inspiration from the “intricate designs, vibrant colors, and symbolic meanings embedded in African art and architecture.”
The 10-piece offering combines “global fashion and the intricate craftsmanship rooted in African traditions,” said Claire’s.

“The collection is a reminder of the importance of cultural exchange, fostering connections, and appreciating the unique stories embedded in art and design,” said Scott.
“We hope that, as you explore the Claire’s and Jam + Rico collection, you'll not only discover stylish accessories but also connect with the profound narratives and inspirations that make each piece special.”
The jewels, which include bangles, hoops, statement earrings, rings, and a necklace, are 18-karat gold plated.
Scott also works in the fine jewelry space and was a member of the inaugural class of the Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative.
The pieces, ranging in price from $25 to $55, are available online and in stores at Claire’s.
