Heritage Auctions Names New Co-Director of Fine Jewelry
Industry veteran Gina D’Onofrio has rejoined the auction house.

D’Onofrio is rejoining the company, having formerly been its director of fine jewelry.
She held the position from 2016 until 2022, when she left to resume running the appraisal business she started in Los Angeles in 2000.
“The lure of auctions proved irresistible, leading me straight back to Heritage,” said D’Onofrio.
“It’s a joy to be working again with such a brilliant team of jewelry specialists and I am excited to be part of the growth and success our combined talents will achieve moving forward.”
She has worked in the jewelry industry since 1989 in the retail, auction and manufacturing sectors.
Her experience spans the design, production, appraisals, buying, and selling of contemporary, antique and period jewelry.
“We are absolutely delighted to have Gina back with the Heritage family,” said Ed Beardsley, Heritage’s vice president and managing director.
“Her knowledge of jewelry and skills in assisting buyers and sellers are second to none.”
Heritage’s jewelry team includes Jill Burgum, Heritage’s executive director of fine jewelry, based in Dallas, and Ana Wroblaski, a director of fine jewelry also based in Beverly Hills.
“The Heritage jewelry department is excited to welcome Gina D’Onofrio back,” said Burgum. “Gina brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and talent to the team that is much appreciated.”
D'Onofrio is a Certified Master Appraiser with the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers and a Master Gemologist Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers.
She has received Los Angeles Magazine’s “Best in LA” award for her jewelry appraisal services.
She also leads presentations about appraisals and other jewelry-related topics to private and corporate groups in Los Angeles and throughout the U.S.
