The “Earth Magic II” necklace is the standout piece of the latest “Green Jewel” collection from Muzo and Argyle.
In 2017, Muzo Emerald Colombia and Argyle Pink Diamonds came together to produce a high jewelry line, “The Green Jewel.”
The most recent evolution, "The Green Jewel Tradition” collection, marks the fourth time the two mines have released the collaborative offering.
This collection honors Mother Nature, the companies said, whose organic beauty informs the designs, and the role of the powerful female force.
Its centerpiece, the “Earth Magic II” necklace, is the perfect embodiment of such feminine influence.
The Earth Magic II necklace features a 7.66-carat Muzo emerald and two rare Argyle diamonds.
The collection, like the ones before it, marries two of the world’s rarest stones—no-oil emeralds from the Muzo mine and pink diamonds from the now-closed Argyle Diamond Mine in Western Australia.
The necklace, crafted in platinum and 18-karat rose gold, features a 7.66-carat no-oil, cushion-shaped Muzo emerald and a 1.06-carat fancy intense purplish pink diamond from the final 2021 Signature Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender.
A rare 0.43-carat fancy purplish red Argyle diamond surrounded by 11.08 carats of white diamonds and 2.82 carats of pink diamonds completes the masterpiece.
It’s a continuation of the first Earth Magic necklace from "The Green Jewel Encore” collection, the second edition of the high jewelry line, which features a 5.25-carat no-oil emerald the miner said is the “the finest [to] emerge from the Muzo mines, never seen comparable in 30 years.”
