GIA to Offer Next-Day Services for the Holidays
The lab is tightening the turnaround time on certain diamond grading reports for what normally is the industry’s busy season.

From now through Dec. 20, GIA will expedite grading of D-to-Z diamonds (both natural and lab-grown) submitted to its Carlsbad, California, or New York labs, returning them the day after they are received at no additional charge.
For clients who ship their stones, the offer ends Dec. 19.
To be eligible for the limited-time offer, clients must include the promo code “HOLIDAY” on their memo, the lab said.
Qualifying services include the Diamond Grading Report, GIA Diamond Dossier, Laboratory-Grown Diamond Report, and Laboratory-Grown Diamond Report – Dossier.
There is a limit of up to 10 stones per client per day.
To meet the turnaround deadline, diamonds automatically will be processed and reports printed without additional requests for add-on or follow-up services.
While service completion will happen within 24 hours, the shipping times may vary, GIA noted.
The lab has offered next-day services every holiday season since 2016.
