Gismondi 1754 Acquires Vendorafa from LVMH
Gismondi 1754 now owns Vendorafa’s fine jewelry brand while LVMH retains its manufacturing division.

When LVMH acquired Pedemonte Group, a jewelry producer operating in Italy and France, in November 2022, Vendorafa and its manufacturing arm, Vendorafa Lombardi, were part of the deal.
Under the terms, Vendorafa Lombardi and Villa Pedemonte Atelier, a large-scale production specialist, were combined. Together, the pair manufacture jewels for international luxury brands, including some in the LVMH portfolio.
At the time of acquisition, the two manufacturers had a combined revenue of €41 million ($44 million).
LVMH will continue to own Vendorafa’s manufacturing division, but has agreed to sell the fine jewelry brand.
Gismondi 1754 bought the brand on March 31 for €608,000 ($665,000).
Founded in the goldsmith district of Valenza, Italy in 1951, Vendorafa is notable for its handmade 18-karat gold jewels as well as its workmanship, including its hammering, engraving, and embossing techniques.
Gismondi CEO Massimo Gismondi was familiar with the brand’s work and admired its quality and uniqueness, said the company.
“Meeting the family, I was immediately struck by our shared values, representation of ‘handmade in Italy by Italians,’ and their reputation of high specialization as leaders of master goldsmithing in the industry,” said Gismondi.
“With Vendorafa, we bring continuity and strength to a legacy brand I respect as well as a key acquisition in our business development plan aimed at strengthening our global presence within the sector.”
Gismondi has already taken control of operations and will bring Vendorafa’s collections to Couture in Las Vegas.
