GSI Appoints New Global EVP
Pinky Jalui, who has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, joins the lab as executive vice president of global business development.

Pinky Jalui joins the lab with more 20 years of experience in the gem and jewelry industry, bringing her knowledge of the diamond industry to the role.
In her new role, she will be responsible for expanding GSI’s reach and creating new business opportunities globally.
Jalui said: “I am excited to join a company with a long-standing reputation for providing expert diamond and gemstone certification services. I look forward to working with the team to drive global growth and bring our services to new markets.”
The appointment of Jalui is one of a number of personnel additions at GSI in recent months.
In January, the lab announced it had hired longtime International Gemological Institute executive Monika Biernacka and, last fall, it named industry veteran Ramit Kapur as managing director of GSI India.
