David Yurman Names New Chief Marketing Officer
Former Estée Lauder executive Carolyn Dawkins will oversee the jeweler’s marketing strategies and its e-commerce business.

Prior to her appointment, Chief Merchant and Product Officer Lee Tucker led the company’s marketing efforts.
In her new role, Dawkins will lead David Yurman’s marketing and content strategies and oversee its e-commerce business with a focus on user experience, brand storytelling, and innovation.
Previously, Dawkins worked for Estée Lauder as the global chief marketing officer and senior vice president for Clinique, leading the brand’s operational strategies across product marketing, consumer engagement, e-commerce, customer insights, and data analytics.
Prior to that, she was a director at Google, overseeing the BrandLab and Unskippable Experiments teams.
She’s also held brand marketing roles at L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, and Kellogg’s.
“I’m honored to join the David Yurman family to support the company’s continued evolution and exciting growth plans,” said Dawkins. “I am thrilled by the opportunity to amplify the company’s rich heritage with new and existing customers.”
Dawkins’ appointment is part of President Evan Yurman’s plan to expand the company’s executive team and maintain its position as a leader in the jewelry market.
Yurman, the son of company co-founders David and Sybil Yurman, became president of David Yurman in 2021.
“Carolyn brings deep expertise and leadership cultivated from over 20 years of working across a range of tech, beauty and CPG industries,” Evan said. “I look forward to partnering with Carolyn to develop strategic marketing, creative and digital initiatives to elevate and grow our global business.”
Additional recent hires include Chief Operations Officer Marcelo Tau and Chief of People and Strategy Emily Yueh.
The company recently opened a flagship store in Paris and a new store on Worth Avenue, one of the premiere shopping destinations in Palm Beach, Florida.
