24 Karat Club of New York Elects a Dozen New Members
GIA President and CEO Susan Jacques and Jewelers Mutual Group COO Mike Alexander are among the members of the Class of 2022.

Steven Lerche, executive vice president, Goldstar Jewellery;
Jay Mehta, CEO, Indigo Jewelry, Inc.;
Ashit Parikh, president, Emby International/Uni Design USA;
Jordan Peck, vice president, Brevani/Color Merchants; and
Barry Verragio, owner and CEO, Verragio.
“These 12 new members reaffirm the vitality of the club by attracting well-respected leaders from many sectors of our industry,” said Jeffrey Cohen, president of the 24 Karat Club.
“The club’s mission statement for over 120 years to foster friendships and relationships through all distribution channels for the betterment of the industry is well continued by these new members.”
The 24 Karat Club of New York’s signature annual event, its banquet, is scheduled for Saturday, March 18 at Cipriani South Street.
The banquet will take place one night after the Gem Awards, which will honor the late Steven Kaiser with a posthumous lifetime achievement award. Winners in three other categories will be announced live during the event.
