Brilliant Earth’s Cocktail Ring Collection Channels 1920s Glamour
The 21-piece collection features both lab-grown and natural gemstones.
Brilliant Earth launched a new cocktail ring collection Tuesday ahead of the holiday season.
San Francisco—Brilliant Earth has launched a new cocktail ring collection, just in time for the holidays.
The 21-piece collection features both lab-grown and natural gemstones, including pearls, topaz, watermelon tourmaline and alexandrite.
It draws inspiration from the 1920s, when cocktail rings first became a fashion statement, said Brilliant Earth, worn as symbols of freedom and empowerment.
The company is reimagining classic styles of the decade for the modern-day jewelry shopper, giving the pieces on-theme names like “Cabaret” and “Revelry.”
“With our Brilliant Earth Cocktail Ring collection, the gemstone is the star, inspired by fun and joyous occasions intrinsically linked to self-expression,” said Ryan Atlas, Brilliant Earth’s director of product development.
“Signature to our craftsmanship, the vibrant center gemstones are set in opulent designs
with showstopping scale.”

The “Cabaret” garnet and diamond ring in 18-karat yellow gold ($1,990)
The “Festivity” prasiolite and diamond ring in 14-karat rose gold ($1,690)
The “Coronation” amethyst and diamond ring in 18-karat yellow gold ($1,290)
The collection features lab-grown and natural gemstones, including this watermelon tourmaline.
The collection also includes trendy toi et moi rings, like this blue topaz and lab-grown alexandrite ring ($1,490) and morganite and pink tourmaline ring ($1,490).
Pearls also make an appearance in the collection, including this “Debutante” cultured black pearl and diamond ring ($2,190) and this “Cotillion” cultured pearl and diamond ring ($1,490).
The collection features bold shapes and elevated settings, like this hexagonal “Masquerade” lab-grown alexandrite and diamond ring ($3,990) and this “Revelry” garnet and diamond ring ($2,190).
There are also bands, including this “Nimbus” ombré set with black and silver-tone diamonds, and spinels ($4,890) and this “Eternity” London blue topaz eternity band ($1,190).
The full collection launched Tuesday, but select pieces were pre-launched on Zepeto, a virtual world platform with more than 320 million users.
The styles range in price from $2,000 to $8,000 and are available online and in Brilliant Earth’s 22 showrooms.
The company is best known for its bridal offerings but has recently started to offer trend-driven fine jewelry collections, to a positive reception.
On a recent earnings call, Chief Financial Officer Jeff Kuo said, “we continue to see outsized performance within our fine jewelry assortment with growth that far outpaces the business as a whole.”
The company has introduced thousands of new natural and lab-grown colored diamonds, as well as a wider assortment of colors, shapes, and price points.
Brilliant Earth also launched a men’s jewelry line this June and has been collaborating with popular designers for new collections, including Tacori and Jade Trau.
