Charles & Colvard to Open First Showroom
The brick-and-mortar space will open later this month, giving customers an in-person look at its lab-created diamond and gemstone jewelry.

The 2,000-square-foot space will open Oct. 24 on its Morrisville, North Carolina campus, giving customers the opportunity to see the brand’s jewelry in person.
The showroom is infused with pops of color and has video technology built into the backdrop.
“We wanted to create a space that allowed our customers to understand both what we believe and what we make, and to experience the full range of fine jewelry that the brand has to offer, including engagement, bridal, and anniversary and our newest fashion collections,” said Senior Director of Sales and Merchandising Hillary Watson.

The space will feature its new launches, like its lab-grown diamond men’s bands and its lab-grown colored gemstone collection, as well as its “Signature” collection and classic bridal staples.
“We believe with more and more couples interested in the provenance of their jewelry and alternatives to mined gemstones, the need for a space to understand and experience them in person has arrived,” said Don O’Connell, president and CEO.
“This isn’t just a place for customers to see our product firsthand. This is an opportunity to educate and share the beauty of above ground, responsibly made jewelry with anyone who is interested.”
The store will be staffed by fine jewelry specialists and in-house jewelers, offering engagement consultation and concierge services, as well as education opportunities for shoppers interested in its lab-grown jewelry.
The company got its start about 30 years ago and was best known for its created moissanite but has since branched out into lab-grown diamonds and gemstones.
The space will also be open for local businesses hosting private and corporate events, employee appreciation shopping, and as a venue for “local likeminded and ethically sourced brands,” said the company.
The new showroom is located at 170 Southport Drive in Morrisville, North Caroline.
