Diamond Price List Introduces ‘Insights’ Platform

It provides real-time diamond market analytics.

After a soft launch of its new diamond market insights platform, Diamond Price List has officially rolled out DPL Insights.
Tel Aviv, Israel—The Diamond Price List has introduced DPL Insights, a diamond market insights platform updated in real time. 
 
DPL Insights gives diamond traders access to live industry status reports, providing a data analytics view of the supply, demand, and pricing of polished diamonds. 
 
Its insights allow trade members to compare their own pricing again the market’s average to see how their business is positioned within the industry.  
 
The insights are based on data pulled from DPL’s nearly 5,000 suppliers. 
 
The platform had a soft launch during the recent JCK Las Vegas jewelry trade show.
 
The company said DPL Insights experienced “off-the-charts engagement,” with users spending four to five minutes per session and utilizing most of the analysis tools on each page. 
 
Additionally, more than 20 percent of users returned to the platform daily for more than a week. 
 
A demonstration of the platform can be booked online.

The platform is open to anyone who has a valid business license. 
 
Those interested can register online and receive a one-month free trial of the platform.

For a limited time, fees are $39.99 per month. They will eventually go to $49.99. 
 
“Proper research is time-consuming and requires multiple sources. Until now, real-time analysis of the market was thought to be impossible. Looking at the platform, I understand how DPL Insights is about to change all of that,” said Rosy Blue Director Raj Mehta. 
 
Howard Hauben, president and CEO of the Centurion jewelry show, said: “Our industry needs greater, faster data analysis; adding visual results makes it so much easier and intuitive to understand and take action. I like the solution created by DPL Insights and can definitely see how it can impact the industry for the better.”
 
Operated by Ramat Gan, Israel-based Lucy Platforms, the Diamond Price List went live in June 2021. Its methodology is based on advanced machine learning. 
 
Lucy Platforms also operates B2B marketplace Get-Diamonds for the World Federation of Diamond Bourses.
