Los Angeles Rams Unveil Super Bowl LVI Ring

Designed by Jason of Beverly Hills, it has the highest diamond carat weight in the ring’s history.

To celebrate the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl LVI victory, jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills created an intricately detailed championship ring.
Los Angeles—The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at Super Bowl LVI, and now they have the ring to prove it.

The ring’s design was a team effort, with input from Rams players, team leadership, and Los Angeles-based jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills.

The jeweler and his team designed the ring with incredibly intricate detail.

"Most people don't understand how immersed we become in the design process. We are passionate about understanding the team, the season, and the city,” said Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills.

Arasheben and his team spent the day at SoFi Stadium, the 70,000-seat venue, opened in 2020, that held Super Bowl LVI.

The shape of the ring is a tribute to the architectural and design elements of the stadium.

“The first thing I said was, ‘What can you get me from the game? The field? Ball? What else?’ I didn't just want it to be historical in design but have physical elements from the event as well. It all adds value and authenticity, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia," said Arasheben.

Columns visible on the ring’s profile mimic the columns that support the stadium’s canopy roof. They’re set with 0.23 carats of diamonds, an ode to the 23 points scored during the game.

The face of the ring features the Vince Lombardi Trophy, crafted by Tiffany & Co., created using one marquise diamond and a trophy base of 0.12 carats of round diamonds, honoring the 12 regular season wins.

On either side of the trophy are palm trees, symbolic of Los Angeles, set with 0.26 carats of diamonds, a nod to the franchise’s 26 post-season wins.

The Rams logo in the center is crafted with special-cut blue and yellow sapphires.

The ring has a twistable, removable top, a signature of Jason of Beverly Hills. It opens to reveal the SoFi Stadium bowl, including the Infinity Screen.

Created by Samsung, the Infinity Screen features the most LEDS ever used in a sports or entertainment venue, said the Rams.

On the underside of the removable top is a view of the stadium’s translucent ETFE roof, a lightweight material used instead of glass, surrounded by a piece of the Super Bowl LVI game ball.

The miniature stadium field was created using pieces of the actual turf the game was played on Super Bowl Sunday.

Flip to the underside of the ring and find the final scores of all the playoff games of the 2021 season, including Super Bowl LVI.

The rings are personalized for each player. One side of the ring features the player's name with their number adorned in diamonds.

There are also two stars, paying tribute to the franchise's two Super Bowl Championships and to Los Angeles, also known as the city of stars.

On the other side of the ring is the Super Bowl LVI final score, 23-20, the NFL Shield, and the Super Bowl LVI logo, alongside the phrase “World Champions.”

The player’s name and the phrase “World Champions” are on a plate that mirrors the shape of the Infinity Screen.

There are two diamonds on each plate, for a total of four, which represent the four teams the team beat in the 2021 post-season to win Super Bowl LVI.

This year’s ring has the most diamond carat weight in the ring’s history, weighing in at 20 carats of white diamonds set in white and yellow gold, a nod to the official opening of the stadium in 2020.

Of these diamonds, 1.12 carats are round brilliant-cut to represent Jan. 12, a key date in the team’s history.

On that day in 2016, the Rams were approved to move back to Los Angeles from St. Louis. On the same date in 2017, Head Coach Sean McVay was hired. Then on Jan. 12, 2019, the Rams beat the Dallas Cowboys 30-22 for their first playoff victory after returning to Los Angeles.

The jeweler’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed by the team’s leadership.

"We are grateful to Jason and his team for their creativity and passion to deliver a championship ring that reflects our team and their historic season, the one-of-a-kind stadium where it happened, and the city that inspired all of it,” said Los Angeles Rams Vice President of Football and Business Affairs Tony Pastoors.

Versions of the Super Bowl LVI ring and other related products will be made available for purchase. They’re currently available to season ticket holders and will roll out to the general public in the coming months.
