“The IGDA Leadership Committee and its membership are a major step forward toward our vision of establishing a more diverse and international organization that is the voice of authority for the lab-grown diamond industry,” said IGDA Founder and President Richard Garard.
“Our list of priorities is long, and the needs of the lab-grown diamond community are core to our focus. But we know with these key industry leaders involved we will be able to achieve these goals and much more.”
Founded in 2016, IGDA is a non-profit association designed to represent the lab-grown diamond industry, educate consumers, and promote lab-grown diamonds.
The association announced a revamp last fall as IGDA 2.0, which also included a new website, development and distribution of consumer point-of-sale and promotional materials, sales associate training, and the establishment of an international chapter network.
