Foundrae Has So Many Personalized Jewel Options for the Holidays
In-house engraving helps create the company’s modern heirlooms.

Now, it offers in-house engraving services at its Manhattan flagship, so clients can customize their Foundrae medallions on the spot.
Accordingly, there are new blank medallions, featuring none of the brand’s iconography, to serve as the perfect engraving canvas.
There is a 10-millimeter engravable disc ($495), a 12-millimeter miniature heart with guilloche border detailing ($995), a 12-millimeter heart with diamond pave ($1,995), and a medium heart with more elaborate guilloche border (price to be determined).
All are crafted in 18-karat gold.
Engraving is included in the purchase and available in two fonts: the sans serif “maximalist,” reminiscent of 1920s lettering; and the “Textured Cypher,” inspired by Foundrae’s signature brand lettering.
Each combination of letters or numbers is interpreted by the engraver in terms of spacing, rather than rendered automatically.
Also new and intended for engraving are the “Ingot” pendants, which lend themselves particularly well to the brand’s genderless emphasis.
The style is inspired by English sterling silver ingots crafted in 1977 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee.
Interpreted in a soft, “loaf-shaped” 18-karat gold version, the front is blank for customer engraving in the two aforementioned fonts, while the back boasts stamped hallmarks just like the Silver Jubilee versions.
Foundrae’s hallmarks are its registered brand trademark, the Foundrae triangle; 750 to represent the gold content; one of the brand’s symbols, the “True Love Knot;” and the year per the symbol set by the London Assay office, with “W” representing 2021.
The brand founded by Beth Bugdaycay also has new personalized goodies that are ready to ship, like a miniature version of its “Oversized Heart Love Token” available with a single diamond pave initial, as well as a star or “Love Knot” ($1,195-$1,295).
They can be added to the brand’s chains and hoop earrings, as can a new pave diamond disc with spiked edges ($1,495), which is ideal for adding to one’s mix of Foundrae medallions.
The Foundrae store also aims to present an experience that transcends jewelry, and new additions to its limited supply of home accessories will help that along.
Each Foundrae purchase comes with a card illuminating a Foundrae symbol, and the new “Reflection Book Box” ($225) offers 52 of them for contemplation in the vein of tarot cards or angel cards.
There’s also a very on-brand symbol-inlaid brass stamp incense holder ($95) that comes with Tennen incense.
A collaboration with Laboratorio Paravicini on handmade plates feels like a natural fit for Foundrae, with the brand’s signature symbols depicted in large scale for further admiration. Dessert plates are offered in sets of five ($475), while miniature plates are offered individually ($65).
The brand also has new offerings slated for January 2022, including colored gemstone versions of its clear quartz medallions: citrine, prasiolite, smoky quartz, rose quartz, and blue topaz.
There will also be additions to its “True Love” symbol series, including a new version of the brand’s cigar band, one of its founding styles.
