CBG Appoints Chief Operating Officer
Natalie Feanny, who has jewelry buying and retail experience, will step into the role Nov. 1.
New York—The Continental Buying Group has named Natalie Feanny its chief operating officer.
The appointment is effective Nov. 1.
Feanny is a Graduate Gemologist who has 21 years of experience buying loose diamonds and bridal and high-end jewelry.
She created core programs and assisted with marketing at a large independent retailer’s store and e-commerce site.
“We are thrilled to have Natalie join our Continental Buying Group and Preferred Jewelers International families,” CBG CEO Andie Weinman and President Joe Murphy said in a joint statement about the appointment.
“Natalie is a natural fit. She has been a retailer in CBG for over 15 years and is very familiar with our suppliers and retailers. We look forward to having her help us grow both organizations.”
Natalie Feanny will be the Continental Buying Group’s chief operating officer beginning Nov. 1.
Feanny said: “I have always admired Joe and Andie, and I am so excited to be joining their team. The support and encouragement I’ve received from the industry has been overwhelming, and I carry this enthusiasm into my new role.”
The appointment comes on the heels of several successful trade shows for the buying group in 2021 as it resumes in-person events, including its Las Vegas show and its fall show, both of which CBG said were successful.
“The energy was off the charts! The showroom floor was always busy. The retailers were all there to do business and reconnect with their CBG supplier partners,” Weinman said after the Vegas edition.
