This Coffee-Table Book Is the Perfect Present for Diamond Lovers
The tome offers an appreciation for the stone through the voices of celebrities, designers, and other diamond lovers.

Just in time for gifting season, the Natural Diamond Council has partnered with book publisher Assouline to launch a new coffee-table book aptly titled “Diamonds: Diamond Stories.”
Featuring a foreword by Edward Enninful, editor-in-chief of British Vogue, the tome celebrates the stone by offering quotes and stories from those involved in the diamond industry, celebrities, and other diamond lovers.
It features words from the likes of model Kate Moss, actress Blake Lively and musician Shawn Mendes, as well as names well-known in the jewelry world, like Valerie Messika, Jacob the Jeweler, and Nikos Koulis, among many others.
There are also vignettes about notable diamonds or diamond finds.
The 1,758-carat Sewelô Diamond uncovered in Botswana is featured, as is the 203.04-carat De Beers Millennium Star, and the historic 34.98-carat Beau Sancy, as are notable diamonds styles, like Van Cleef’s iconic zip necklace.
The diamonds and diamond jewels featured in the book come to life with stunning photography from Greg Williams, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Mikael Jansson, and Erik Madigan Heck, among others.
“In today’s world, diamonds are as entrenched in luxury, glamour, and aspiration as they have been through history, but as the representations of those ideals are changing, so is the diamond,” Enninful writes in his foreword.
“Diamonds: Diamond Stories” is available to buy now for $95 on Assouline.com.
