Rocksbox Adds Demi-Fine Jewelry to Rental Subscription
The jewelry rental platform introduced sterling silver and gold-plated offerings for its members.

Launched in 2012 by CEO Meghan Rose, the San Francisco-based company allows subscribers to rent different pieces of jewelry every month, swapping out their picks for something new the following month or buying the pieces.
For $21 per month, subscribers can rent up to three pieces for as long as they like or choose to purchase them at a discounted price. There is no additional charge to rent the new demi-fine pieces.
The new demi-fine collection includes styles from designers Kendra Scott, Luv AJ, Banter by Piercing Pagoda, and the new Demifine by Rocksbox exclusive assortment.

The collection features snake chains, curb chain bracelets, initial pendants, huggie hoops, and more. Each style is crafted with rhodium-plated sterling silver or 18-karat gold-plated sterling silver.
“All Rocksbox demi-fine jewelry includes a thick plating of sterling silver and 18-karat gold, bringing a premium jewelry experience to our members,” said Rose in a press release about the collection.
“This launch is an exciting milestone for us as part of the Signet family, marking our first move into the demi-fine category and the introduction of a Signet banner, Banter by Piercing Pagoda, into our rental offering.”
The collection is available now to Rocksbox members on the company’s website.
Rocksbox is now owned by Signet Jewelers after the latter purchased the company in April for an undisclosed price.
