Smith has spent 30 years building retail sales teams and has worked in wholesale as well. In addition to serving as executive vice president of brand development at Hearts on Fire, he held positions at Leo Schachter & Co. and Tiffany & Co.
He also is the author of Hiring Squirrels: 12 Essential Interview Questions to Uncover Great Retail Sales Talent and is a columnist for National Jeweler.
Founded in 2000, Vibhor Gems is a manufacturer of precision machine-set rings. The company uses precision machine-cut diamonds and a solid piece of die-struck metal to create its products.
