Day’s Jewelers Announces New Vice President
Liz Mahoney replaces Joseph Corey as vice president of store operations.

Liz Mahoney joins the Maine and New Hampshire independent jewelry chain as vice president of store operations.
Mahoney replaces Joe Corey, who was recently promoted to company president.
Mahoney was born into an independent business family and grew up watching her parents navigate their own interior design firm.
Her career led her to another creative field, jewelry. She worked for more than 20 years at Ultra-Diamonds in Chicago, where she was the district manager.
Most recently, she was general manager of an independent jewelry retailer in Ohio.
Mahoney said in a press release, “It gets in your blood. If I can share what I’ve learned and pass it on, and it will help, that’s a big thing for me.”
At Day’s Jewelers, she will oversee all eight store locations. Day’s said her background in identifying training needs, creating financial goals and managing a brick-and-mortar store will make her an excellent fit at the company.
Founded in 1914, today Day’s Jewelers employs about 140 people across Maine and New Hampshire.
