Stuller acquires CAD software company
Stuller Inc. now owns Barcelona-based TDM Solutions, which has created jewelry-making software including RhinoGold.
Lafayette, La.--Stuller has acquired TDM Solutions, a Barcelona-based company that creates CAD-based software including RhinoGold, which is specific to jewelry making.
TDM’s founder, Rafael del Molino, will join the Stuller leadership team.
Founded in 2001, TDM includes a global network of dealers and trainers that operate in more than 25 countries, providing CAD solutions in industries including jewelry, automotive, casts and molds, footwear and general mechanics.
TDM will simultaneously compete and collaborate with Gemvision, a jewelry software company that Stuller acquired in 2009, Stuller said. Both TDM and Gemvision offer customers “a variety of solutions to meet their product, service and design needs,” the manufacturer said.
“Stuller’s acquisition of TDM demonstrates our continued acknowledgement of the role that CAD will play in the jewelry industry for years to come,” Stuller CEO Matthew Stuller said.
