Jewelers Mutual gives its University a makeover
Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co. has updated JM University, the online safety and security training resource first launched in 2005.
Neenah, Wis.--Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co. has updated JM University, the online safety and security training resource first launched in 2005.
Mark Cumicek, director of loss prevention, said the updated platform still has the “Danger on the Road” and “Selling with Security” courses but has made them easier to access, and easier for store owners or managers to share with their entire staff.
The new JM University uses Litmos, a learning management system, and the insurance company said it would be adding more loss prevention training courses like the ones already offered.
In addition, Jewelers Mutual said the new platform provides jewelers with oversight that allows them to easily monitor staff training, giving them access to results in real time and allowing them to evaluate any areas of concern. Jewelers said they have found the staff training portion of JM University to be a useful tool to include in staff onboarding and training materials.
Access to JM University is benefit offered to Jewelers Mutual policyholders and is part of the company’s loss prevention library of resources. To sign up or sign in, members may visit JewelersMutual.com/JM-University.
