JFC reveals 2015 grant winners
Jewelers for Children has named the 10 charities that will receive $10,000 each as part of the organization’s annual Local Grants program.
New York--Jewelers for Children have named the 10 organizations that will benefit from its 2015 Local Grants program.
The charities listed below will receive $10,000 each from JFC, pooled from $100,000 the organization set aside from fundraising that has taken place throughout the year.
Retailers nominated each of these charities, and the 10 winners were selected via a Facebook-based voting campaign that ran from Oct. 5 through 19 on the JFC Facebook page.
More than 15,000 visitors voted. The winners are as follows.

--Camp Sunshine, nominated by Day’s Jewelers
--Chris Lantos Foundation, nominated by Papazian Jewelry Designs
--Gio’s Garden, nominated by Bauer Jewelry Designs
--Matthew’s Giving Tree, nominated by Kay Cameron Jewelers
--Meeting Street School, nominated by Bee Chic Boutique
--Morrow Manor, nominated by Dahlquist’s Fine Jewelry
--Pediatric Therapy Network, nominated by Daniel’s Jewelers
--Something for Kelly, nominated by Cunningham Jewelry & Appraisal Services
--Songs of Love Foundation, nominated by Solomons Fine Jewelry
JFC will send the $10,000 checks to the jewelers who nominated the winning charities so that they will be able to present each organization with the money.
