PGI taps stylist as latest platinum ambassador
Platinum Guild International’s latest collaboration has the organization teaming up with Emmy Award-winning costume designer Lyn Paolo to promote the metal.

New York--Platinum Guild International’s latest collaboration has the organization teaming up with Emmy Award-winning costume designer Lyn Paolo to promote the metal.
Paolo, who currently designs for shows such as ABC’s Scandal and the Showtime series Shameless, will act as a platinum brand ambassador, serving to increase awareness of the value, benefits and fashion appeal of the metal.
She also will promote platinum through her costume design as well as via social media and editorial opportunities.
Paolo will be pulling platinum jewelry for use on Scandal as well as the John Wells-directed film Adam Jones, for which Paolo currently is designing costumes, and will use those to speak about platinum and why she chose it.
Paolo also will be curating some of her favorite platinum pieces for inclusion in a gallery that will appear on social media and online.
“Through her years of design and most recently through her work on Scandal, a show that influences the purchases of thousands of Millennial consumers, Ms. Paolo has been a defining figure in fashion,” said PGI USA President Huw Daniel. “Her personal affinity for platinum jewelry, natural eye for timeless style and connection to those savvy women who choose platinum for their jewelry purchases all deem Lyn a natural messenger for platinum.”
